More Than a Team
Stars & Stripes RFC was born out of a simple idea: bring together American servicemembers, expats, and rugby lovers stationed in South Korea to compete, train, and build something bigger than themselves.
Founded in 2024 at Camp Humphreys, we started with a handful of players and a shared love for the game. What began as weekend pickup matches quickly grew into a full squad competing in local and regional tournaments.
Our players come from all walks of life — active duty soldiers, veterans, civilians, coaches, and supporters. What unites us is the rugby ethos: respect, discipline, teamwork, and the willingness to put your body on the line for the person next to you.
We don't just play rugby. We represent something. The stars and stripes on our jersey mean pride, sacrifice, and the unbreakable bond of brotherhood. Every match, every scrum, every try — we carry that with us.
